Let me tell you about myself!

My Experience

So far, I have worked in a number of customer-facing jobs, even as early as during my first cooperative education placement. With Magnitude Simba, I was able to be sit in on meetings between the rest of the team & their clients. This gave me an early exposure to best practices working with other developers (especially remotely) throughout the entire development process.

My next placement was with the Facilities Services for Simon Fraser University, as part of their administrative team. I worked closely with the office staff to ensure their workflow needs were met and improved to the best of my capacity, and any problems were handled with care and clear communication.

Before starting my last semester, I was approached by one of my colleagues from Simba to join their new software services company, Bit Quill Technologies. Starting from a small team with connections to big clients, we saw consistent success and growth, with as much a focus on growing the developers as there was on growing the company.

After taking some time to focus on myself and some personal growth, amidst the chaos of the COVID-19 pandemic, I am ready to find somewhere new to make an impact with a larger team. If a client-minded developer focused on quality sounds like the fit for you, get in touch!
